How custom orders work
Most Squid’nserts are stock sizes you can order straight from the finder. Everything else is a custom order, built by hand and quoted before you pay anything.
What we make to order
- Different lock-ring profiles: Negative G and Proline V-ring, Spec RC Comp Cut, and the V-style ring on Amazon carbon-fiber wheels.
- Stretched fits: a 1.9 tire on a 2.2 wheel.
- Different firmness for heavier or lighter crawlers.
- Inserts matched to your lock-ring width.
- Different quantities than a set of four.
- International orders, quoted with shipping.
What we don’t make
One-off tires. If you’ve cut, narrowed, or otherwise modified a tire so that nobody else runs it, we can’t fit an insert to it. Custom work is for production tires we’re likely to see again.
Lead time and pricing
- Custom orders run one to two weeks, filled first come, first served from a running list.
- No extra charge for custom work. You pay the normal price for the insert size, plus shipping.
- When it’s your turn we’ll email you a quote with a payment link. Reply within 24 hours or we move to the next person on the list.
- Nothing is charged until you pay that link.
